Pengoperasian <em>medium voltage switchgear</em> dan <em>testing</em> adalah masalah yang berkaitan dengan listrik dan <em>voltage circuit breakers type high</em>, <em>medium</em>. Bahan bakar dalam mesin diesel dinyalakan dengan tiba-tiba memaparkannya pada suhu tinggi dan tekanan gas terkompresi yang mengandung oksigen (biasanya udara atmosfer), daripada sumber energi pengapian yang terpisah (seperti busi). This course is designed for electrical engineers, system operators, and planners to introduce the fundamentals of Transmission and Distribution engineering using ETAP. Theoretical and practical concepts and examples will be explored to assist the technical professional with their primary functions. Effects of system unbalance and solutions, optimization techniques using optimal power flow and capacitor placement will be analyzed as well as system operations such as switching and contingencies will be studied.<br />

Trafo sebagai peralatan tegangan tinggi tidak lepas dari kemungkinan mengalami kondisi abnormal, dimana pemicunya dapat berasal dari internal maupun external trafo. Ketidaknormalan ini akan menimbulkan dampak terhadap kinerja trafo. Secara umum, dampak/akibat ini dapat berupa overheat, corona dan arcing.<br />
Salah satu metoda untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya ketidaknormalan pada trafo adalah dengan mengetahui dampak dari ketidaknormalan trafo itu sendiri. Untuk mengetahui dampak ketidaknormalan pada trafo digunakan metoda DGA (Dissolved gas analysis). DGA adalah proses untuk menghitung kadar/nilai dari gas-gas hidrokarbon yang terbentuk akibat ketidaknormalan. Dari komposisi kadar/nilai gas-gas itulah dapat diprediksi dampak-dampak ketidaknormalan apa yang ada di dalam trafo, apakah overheat, arcing atau corona.</p>

Designed to familiarise delegates with the construction and operation of proportional hydraulic valves, the course investigates the function of control amplifiers.<br />
The course introduces the use of proportional, directional and pressure control valves and explains their construction, operation and response characteristics. The connection and adjustment of the control amplifier is explained and its operation investigated in the practical exercises.<br />
A Programmable Logic Controller is used in the practical sessions, therefore the course includes an overview of its function and operation.<br />

<p><strong>Deskripsi</strong><br />
Generator adalah peralatan utama pada unit pembangkit yang berfungsi menghasilkan energi listrik. Unjuk kerja generator selain dipengaruhi oleh aspek operasinya sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor pemeliharaannya. Kesalahan dalam melakukan pemeliharaan akan menyebabkan gangguan vibrasi dan menurunnya kemampuan sehingga kinerja unit turun. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut perlu SDM yang kompeten, pelatihan ini dapat memberikan solusi  terhadap masalah pemeliharaan generator di unit pembangkit.<br />
Training ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang aspek-aspek engineering pada sistem pembangkitan Tenaga Listrik. Topik training ditekankan pada operasi, proteksi dan pemeliharaan generator maupun sistem penggerak mulanya.</p>

Construction of generation plants, transmission and distribution of electrical energy systems is a costly business. At both levels of national grid systems and local industrial plants, two important aspects are at the heart of this strategic industry. These are the reliability of energy delivery to meet customers&#8217; demands and safe operation. At different stages of energy processing i.e. at the generation, transmission and energy delivery stage, protection of personnel and equipment is of prime importance. To achieve these goals, protection schemes are to be employed. The philosophy adopted in any protection scheme is to clear faults with a minimum system disruption, at a high speed, and in a simple and economical way. The course deals with different types of protection schemes used in large networks and those adopted in industrial plants. It describes some of the important components such as relays, comparators and other protective gears, and techniques and calculations used for their settings. The course also reflects on recent development and what are new in this important field of electricity industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Tidak semua hal bisa dilakukan manusia dengan nilai yang efektif, efisien, dan aman. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan dan penguasaan bidang robotika adalah sebuah keniscayaan. Perkembangan industri (industri otomotif, industri farmasi, industri permesinan untuk proses otomasi, atau industri-industri yang menghendaki tenaga perawatan alat-alat produksinya atau bahkan industri jasa/servis peralatan mekanis/otomatis) menuntut tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang menguasai teknologi otomatisasi alias robot. Mobil ada mekanik, pesawat, kipas angin, AC, dsb., semua ada kemampuan otomatisnya. Teknologi tersebut merupakan pengembangan teknologi yang terintegrasi meliputi Medical Technology, CNC Technology dan Renewable Energy yaitu yang disebut dengan Teknik Mekatronika. Mekatronika, singkatan dari mekanik dan elektronika, suatu bidang khusus yang membahas mengenai otomasi, kini kian dibutuhkan. Namun dalam perkembangannya mempunyai cakupan yang lebih luas yaitu, suatu bidang yang mengintegrasikan teknik mesin, elektronika, perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak komputer, komunikasi, ilmu bahan, mikroelektronika, juga kecerdasan buatan. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Mekatronika yang meliputi aspek mekanik, elektronik,  sistem kendali, dan komputer serta bagaimana cara merancang sistem mekatronika.(cg)</p>
